Ноябрь
Ноябрь - месяц географии Великобритании в нашей школе. На уроках Science под руководством Dr. Sudeshna Aurangabadker ученики 1-7 классов работали над проектами "The Flora and Fauna of the UK".
Following the traditions of the previous years, this year we are studying the UK.
There were class discussions on this topic at Science lessons and all the students made projects on the Flora and Fauna of the UK.
Some students from the 1st to the 7th grades chose posters projects, whilst the others shared their PowerPoint presentations.
The mild climate of the UK is ideal for the beautiful flora and varied fauna of the British isles. We have all learnt about the existence of 1390 native species of flora, 6 species of deer, 4 types of squirrels, as well as lots of rodents and fish in this unique country.
Now our students know that the national emblems of four countries - the rose, daffodil, thistle, and shamrock are interrelated with the history and mythology of the UK.
A spelling bee was also held on the topic of the Flora and Fauna of the UK.
