SAAS Mission to save the birds!
It’s December and as usual, chilling winds have engulfed Moscow. Our students from 1st-3rd grade tried their best to save the birds. In our Science lessons children were already taught about the body parts of the birds and different types of birds. They also came to know about the migratory birds. Now, the question placed in front of them was crucial - how to save the birds this winter? The answer was simple- to make bird feeders. So, the children gathered the best of their imagination and made these bird feeders, put special grains for the birds as they have been already taught that bread is not the ideal food for the birds and were amazed at the flocks of birds, chirping their gratitude to these young saviors.
